Largest Indian Ocean research facility opens in WA

Despite being the third largest ocean in the world, the Indian Ocean is one of the least explored marine environments, says the University of Western Australia’s vice-chancellor, professor Dawn Freshwater. This makes the opening of the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre particularly important.
