Monash chancellor Simon McKeon to chair Go8 innovation board

Just a few weeks into his new role as chancellor of Monash University, Simon McKeon has been announced as the new chair of the Go8's Industry and Innovation Board. This has been established to drive "the Go8's escalating involvement in Australia's innovation ecosystem". A key component of this involvement is a $200 million investment fund being negotiated with overseas investors.
