Education linked to longer life

Life expectancy for American adults with 16 years or more of education has risen rapidly since 1990, US researchers say. 

The study conducted by researchers at the University of Illiniois shows that despite advances in healthcare and increases in life expectancy overall, Americans with less than a high school education have life expectancies similar to adults in the 1950s and ’60s.
