Humanities miss out in CRC grants

The hard sciences have once again been the big beneficiaries from the latest round of new funding for Australian Co-operative Research Centres (CRCs). Just a fortnight after the intensive second round interviews, the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Kim Carr announced $148 million in grants would be distributed among six of the 10 shortlisted bids.
