New dean of engineering for CQU

Dr Alan McPhail has joined CQUniversity as dean of the School of Engineering and Built Environment based at Gladstone. For the last couple of years he has taught at CQUniversity Sydney and coordinated courses in computing systems and data communications. He has also developed CQUniversity’s Master of Management (Engineering) which is scheduled to come online in 2011. Earlier in his career, he served his apprenticeship as a communications technician in the Royal Australian Navy.
