Diplomas and advanced diplomas will be the collateral damage of the federal government’s push to increase demand for higher education, according to the Group of Eight.ted that in the most likely future demand scenario, Australia would achieve only 28,000 more diploma and advanced diploma enrolments by then – little more than a tenth of the 254,000 additional enrolments needed to achieve the COAG target.
