UWA appoints new librarian

An information management expert has been appointed as UWA’s new librarian and director (information management). Dr Mary Davies replaces John Arfield, who retired earlier this year after 14 years. Davies is currently the deputy chief information officer and director of research and learning support at King’s College London, before which she worked in the university, government and private sectors, including eight years with Cancer Research UK. She will take up her position mid-year.
