ATCs look to a cloudy future

Time is running out for a handful of the 24 Australian technical colleges (ATCs), with their representative association now disbanded and federal funding due to expire at the end of the year. The future of six of the 24 ATCs is still unclear, even though education minister Julia Gillard’s office said last September that arrangements for the centres would be finalised within a couple of months.
