Surely every Australian must feel a sense of supreme relief that little Cleo has been found, and this article stresses the importance of monitoring her psychological well-being, after the traumatic events she has endured.
And surely every Australian must have similar concerns for the mental and physical well-being of the two little Australian girls Kopikaa and Tharunicaa Murugappan, who, along with their parents, were kidnapped from their home in Biloela, Queensland, in a frightening dawn raid by armed intruders. They are still being held, far from home, in frighteningly uncertain conditions. This is a serious issue where every Australian, and perhaps particularly the University Communities, should be pushing to allow this poor traumatized family to return to their home and friends in Biloela, as soon as possible. Like the abduction of little Cleo, the on-going abuse of the Murugappan family serves no purpose whatsoever and simply makes no sense.
