ARC hands out $1.8 million for research, matched by industry funds

The University of Queensland has scored $1.2 million for three research projects aimed at helping mining giants become more efficient. And the University of Wollongong was doled out $675,000 into a project that seeks to extend the life of railway tracks by improving their stability.
