This is an excellent article. Collaboration between the disciplines within the university can be nurtured through teaching and research. If our students are exposed to the possibilities /opportunities then this collaboration can open up the opportunities for more in depth engagement/partnership between industry and the university. Many professions have over time realised the need to develop the business skills of their staff along side their particular technical expertise to enable the business to develop and grow in an increasingly competitive and global market place. Universities themselves are part of this evolution.
