In the Moodle: Blackboard buys NetSpot

The Adelaide-based IT services business and Moodle partner, NetSpot, has been bought by US learning management specialist Blackboard. The US company also announced the takeover of Baltimore’s Moodlerooms as it seeks to broaden its customer base to include users of open source learning management software (LMS). Terms of the deals have not been revealed, but Blackboard is adamant the organisations will continue to operate independently.
