UCL Adelaide appoints CEO

David Travers, formerly South Australia’s deputy agent-general in London, has been appointed CEO of University College London’s School of Energy and Resources in Adelaide. During his 12-year stint with the SA government, Travers was involved in the establishment of Carnegie Mellon and Cranfield universities in Adelaide. During his time in the SA education department, he oversaw the construction of Australia’s first dedicated university high school, the Australian Science and Mathematics School at Flinders University.
