UQ to keep fossil fuel shares

University of Queensland chancellor Peter Varghese has confirmed UQ won’t divest from the $6.4 million it holds in fossil fuel shares as it “would make no real difference”. He also criticised Queensland University of Technology, which announced divestment last month, for a lack of transparency.
