UWA team unlock new clues to pneumonia susceptibility

A research team from the University of Western Australia has revealed new insights into pneumonia susceptibility. In the study, a pneumococcal vaccine was given to people with and without HIV, and their immune cells and their functions were examined before and after the vaccination.
