Academics for Refugees group doubles in size

Last Christmas, 900 academics signed a letter, addressed to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, calling for the immediate release of asylum seeker children in detention. Eight months later, this movement’s ranks have doubled. Now they’re calling for all immigration detention centres to be closed, and for boat turnbacks to end.
