  1. It would be a very appropriate gesture to rename the University of Western Sydney the Gough Whitlam University. Other universities in Australia are named after equally prominent Australians, such as Murdoch University, Monash University and Curtin University, even James Cook University. Let’s go for a renaming. Gough Whitlam University of Western Sydney.
