  1. Agree with this assessment. The Integrated Articulation and Credit Transfer project spent considerable time and resources researching and making recommendations in this space.

The project focused on the sustainability and transferability of seamless pathways between VET and HE and had many research areas including:
    * linking Industry to education and training stakeholders,
    *improving student transition,
*resolving on-going sector barriers to seamlessness, *increasing stakeholder awareness,
*investigating innovative models and pathways, *influencing government policy and regulation.

I mention this not to detract from your work but to support it. The IACT project was finalised in 2011 and it is heartening to see so much work still being done in this area two years later. Our research showed that the landscape hadn’t changed much in 25 years and a lot of work still needs to be done. Projects like IACT (www.3Darticulation.com.au) and the work done by Nick Fredman is important to keep this in the public eye. The IACT project found (and I still believe) that a cohesive approach between VET, HE and Industry is needed to get any traction in this area.
