Mentors help beat discrimination

A pilot work experience scheme for gay and lesbian students has shown promise and may be extended next year.

A new program known as Pride Mentoring is successfully pairing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students at RMIT University with mentors in their industry to give students confidence when they enter their chosen profession.
