Dual sector baulks as Victoria slashes training budget

Victoria University is experiencing the full brunt of the state government’s decision to slash $100 million from its training budget. The government’s move will partly strip the public providers (TAFEs) of the 22 per cent base funding they receive to fund salaries, maintenance and equipment.
