Blurring the public – private debate
It’s not an easy time for universities. What continuing level of funding will Canberra provide for increased domestic student enrolments? Will declining international revenue cover shortfalls? Will they gain or lose domestic students with caps lifted on Commonwealth Supported Place? Will the recent review of the University of Canberra and Canberra Institute of Technology re-introduce talk of mergers more generally?
