New finance guru for Flinders

Flinders University has appointed Shane McGregor to the new position of vice-president (strategic finance and resources). McGregor has spent the past eight years at the University of Adelaide as its Chief Financial Officer. An MBA and qualified accountant, McGregor has also held senior management roles in both public and private sectors, having spent time at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, the South Australian Asset Management Corporation and the State Bank of South Australia. He will start at Flinders in January, said he was excited by the prospect of taking up the post.
