La Trobe appoints Australia’s first pro vice-chancellor sustainability.

La Trobe University has appointed Professor Carol Adams as Australia’s first pro vice-chancellor (sustainability). She has previously held head of school positions at Glasgow, Monash and Deakin universities and is currently acting dean of the Faculty of Law and Management at La Trobe. Adams established the La Trobe Institute of Social and Environmental Sustainability and was chair of La Trobe’s Sustainability Taskforce in 2009. She has also taken up the position of Director, La Trobe Institute of Social and Environmental Sustainability.
