La Trobe shines light on regional provision
In just three years, La Trobe University hopes to see an increase in students in regional areas by 20 per cent – or 900 students. The seriousness of the challenge is illustrated by the fact that regional participation in Australia is on the decline – down from 19 per cent in 2001 to 17 per cent in 2007.
