A $42 billion argument

$42 billion buys a lot of stimulus, for students and many others. It also buys a lot of politicking. When the stimulus package bill hit Parliament last Wednesday, the House of Reps stayed up all night to yell about it. Opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull said the government was “like a frightened soldier who fires off all his ammunition in a panic”.
