ATAR bonus system ‘out of control’

South Australia’s use of bonus points, which can boost a student’s Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) to qualify him or her for entry into a particular university course, is “out of control”, according to University of Adelaide vice-chancellor Professor Warren Bebbington.
