USYD workers strike today over AI and governance concerns

Thousands of workers at a leading Australian university are striking for 24 hours today over job security and AI protections.

Hundreds of University of Sydney staff are striking today after bargaining talks between management and the union stalled over issues including job security, casual employment and protections around artificial intelligence.
