Analysis finds ‘predatory’ journals infiltrating scientific literature

  1. Unfortunately the classic journals are learning to be predatory. They now realise that academics are willing to pay more for their paper to be published than subscribers would pay to read them. Meanwhile the work of the reviewer, the only thing that adds prestige to the paper, goes unrewarded.
