Queensland rethinks TAFE closures, sales
The Queensland government has backed away from plans to close 38 of its 82 TAFE campuses under reforms to the revamp the state's vocational education and training sector.

The Qld report is a farce dreamed up by none other than Michael Roche, the proclaimed leader of the Qld Resources Council, which is a “peak industry association representing the commercial developers of Queensland’s minerals and energy resources”. The real-estate premier of Qld has put a fox to comment on the hen-house, one might say. As usual for this real-estate premier, his goal of the fire sales of government TAFE properties to his mates, all paid for by taxpayers, appears to be succeeding.
