Hi, am listening to your Talking Eds Ep. 14 and I am pretty surprised that you are so unsympathetic to the predicament of the SCA staff and students and the total destruction of an important arts institution. Your dismissive comments about the arts is really disturbing and is indicative I feel of the problem in NSW state politics, and not reflective of the rest of the country where in many ways the arts are valued as both an economic and social benefit. That was very sad listening, I have to say. These are not just kids having fun. This is their education at stake and the loss of about 50 staff jobs. Sad that this gains no traction in Campus Review as a matter of educational educational importance.
