Employment outcomes for disadvantaged graduates vary

A study of more than 10,000 university graduates has revealed that being from a low socioeconomic background or from a rural or regional centre does not hurt one's job or income prospects, compared with wealthier city dwellers. However, being from a non-English speaking background does damage employment outcomes – especially if you're a woman.
