Union and Sydney uni back to talks

Fair Work Australia has instructed the University of Sydney and the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) to go back to discussing the proposed redundancies of more than 300 staff – and both sides are claiming it as a victory. The dispute ended up in front of Fair Work Australia (FWA) in mid-March, and last Thursday Senior Deputy President Lea Drake returned no decision in the case.
