Brazilian student death – blow to international education

The death of Brazilian student Roberto Laudisio Curti in Sydney will almost certainly contribute to Australia’s woes in attracting international students, says an expert from Monash University. Curti, 21, was studying English at a school in Bondi and living with his sister and her Australian husband. He died after being tasered three times by police after allegedly stealing a packet of biscuits from a convenience store in The Rocks.
