UQ picks up most research grants from ARC

More than $310 million in Australian Research Council (ARC) research grants for more than 1000 projects were allocated last week by Innovation Minister Kim Carr.  The money goes on projects as diverse as parenting interventions, better wine production and efficiency in the horse racing industry – as well as new cancer treatments, protecting the Great Barrier Reef and indigenous health.
