Wasser appointed audit director

AUQA has appointed Dr Iring Wasser as an audit director. Wasser has degrees in public administration and international politics, and a PhD in American studies. For the last 10 years, he has been the CEO of the accreditation agency for degrees in engineering, informatics, natural sciences and mathematics (ASIIN e.V., Germany). He is vice-president of the Central and Eastern European Network of quality assurance agencies. Wasser will take up his appointment on 16 August.
