Vanclay goes to Groningen

Professor Frank Vanclay has been appointed professor of cultural geography at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. Previously, he was professor of rural sociology in the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research at the University of Tasmania. Vanclay specialises in social impact assessment and the social analysis of farming, agriculture and rural life. He is a former president of the International Rural Sociology Association.
