Curtin appoints new physiotherapy head

Professor Maureen Simmonds has been appointed as head of the School of Physiotherapy in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Curtin University. She joins Curtin from McGill University in Canada, where she was director of the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy for five years. Prior to McGill, she was head of the School of Health Professions and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Southampton in the UK. Simmonds commenced her role in July.
