Go8 appoints national student equity convenor

The Group of Eight has appointed Margaret Heagney to a new national student equity convenor role in which she will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the group’s equity activities and the national advocate for the Go8 on equity issues. Heagney was most recently coordinator of the Student Equity Unit at Monash University and before that national organiser of the Council of Australian Postgraduate Associations.
