UWS appoints new deputy vice-chancellor

Professor Wayne McKenna has been appointed to the new role of DVC (academic and research) at UWS. McKenna will lead the new Division of Academic and Research, which integrates academic development, teaching, research, engagement, the library and human resources. For the past four years, McKenna was executive dean of the UWS College of Arts. He has worked at UWS since 2000, prior to which he was at the University of Newcastle; University of Geneva, Switzerland; and University of Toulouse, France
