On Thursday, 19 November around 10:30 pm, I noticed first one, then swarms of helicopters over the City of London just to the south of me, moving to the west. The helicopters are often out – visiting heads of state presage a flurry. And Friday night is generally busy from about 4 o’clock as the bankers swan out for their weekends. But Thursday?
