India, Korea join the billion dollar club

China might be Australia’s biggest education export market but India is closing the gap, according to the latest research snapshot from Australian Education International (AEI). The analysis shows that while income from education services provided to Chinese nationals topped $3 billion for the first time in 2007-08, jumping 39 per cent in two years to $3.107 billion, earnings from India more than doubled over the same period.
