Curtin University of Technology’s Muresk Institute has appointed Dr Roger Mandel as agronomy lecturer. Mandel joins Curtin from Charles Stuart University where he has previously taught agriculture and viticulture science and conducted research. He has had a long history in agriculture, growing up on a farm in Southern Alberta, Canada before studying biological science and gaining his PhD from the University of Calgary, Canada. Last year, Mandel was awarded a Australian Learning and Teaching Council Award for excellence in teaching.
