This is reminiscent of the attempt to have Bjorn Lomborg establish a climate-change denying/disparaging “Consensus Centre” centre at UWA.
Scrupulous care taken to ensure that partisan/ideological promulgation is not the price paid for accepting private think-tank participation or donor money in education, especially when empirical evidence and objective fact run counter to the ideologies espoused.
It seems that the pressure to shape knowledge along particular political lines is relentless…
I am suspicious of the tone of this article. Does academic freedom mean that I am expected to align myself with the left?
