Ballot decision stymies industrial action at VU, Deakin

Last week’s decision by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission – which denied the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) permission to conduct a ballot of Victoria University staff – will also prevent the union from disrupting end-of-year exams at VU and other universities.
