Fix rorts – but don’t break the education-immigration nexus

Immigration may be at the heart of the allegations of corruption and exploitation that have rocked international education in Australia. But while the shonky operators need to be closed down, Australia must make sure it doesn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater, according to the deputy vice-chancellor (international) at Flinders University, Professor Dean Forbes.
