More govt-funded places to unis that recognise TAFE qualifications

Tertiary harmonisation aims to reduce the cost and length of some degrees – such as nursing – and fill skills gaps

More publicly funded domestic student places will go to universities that reduce the length of degrees for students with a TAFE qualification as part of a new policy designed to boost the skills of the Australian workforce.
