Which universities are speaking up for marriage equality?

RMIT is the latest university to add its voice to the 'yes' vote for same-sex marriage. Vice-chancellor Martin Bean issued an unequivocal statement in this regard:

Did RMIT (and other universities campaigning) canvass its constituents and did 100% of them say that they are for gay marriage (marriage equality is a vague term)? If the VC cannot show proof of this, then it’s unfair to some that he/she is using the name of the organisation and implying that everybody else agrees with his/her very personal opinion. How would you feel if a sitting Prime Minister announces to the whole world that Australia proudly does not support gay marriage just because he has the same opinion? There’s no problem with heads of organisations expressing their personal opinions, but if they attribute it to their entire organisation, then that could be organisational bullying, which might be the reason I have signed this comment “Anonymous”. Would love to hear from RMIT people, who of course can also sign as “Anonymous”.
RMIT has made this decision based on survey to students and staff in 2015 and 2017. The Vice-Counsellor Martin Bean is speaking up for a majority of staff and students who have asked for this.
Did 100.00% say that they are in favour of gay marriage? If it is just a majority as you say (which means some do not support it), then he should not use the name of RMIT. He can declare his support for gay marriage as an individual’s personal opinion. Same thing for the other universities and other organisations and companies (e.g. Qantas) whose leaders are unfairly using their clout to promote their personal opinions. As a case in point, AMA officers came up with a similar blanket statement, but it was subsequently refuted by a significant number of members who did not agree.
Following the current lefty trend is FAR FROM being courageous… it takes more courage to stand up for what is right and good for the future of our children. This just means that VC Bean will not get mobbed, his university will not become a violent protest target which is what the LGBT activists are extremely good at. Unfortunately news polling does not take into account of mass group voting through lobby groups globally and I suspect that this is where the 67% is coming from.
There are a large portion of the population in the universities who will not speak up for fear of being targets. One of the well known tactics of the LGBTQ activists is to harras the employer to ensure that the disagreeing employee is fired from their job. This tactic is clearly recommended in many LGBTQ social media posts.
I thoroughly agree. If you do express reservations about SSM, you will be crucified by the thugs.
