UQ moves to tighten admissions as VC resigns over irregularity
The University of Queensland is moving to change and tighten rules around student admissions after the resignations of its vice- chancellor and deputy vice-chancellor following revelations of irregularity in the enrolment of a student known to them. Changes to the admissions system have already been recommended and will go to the Senate's Legislative Committee before being considered by the December 8 Senate meeting for approval, the university’s Chancellor John Story has announced.
