Top marketer joins RMIT

The co-founder and chief executive officer of Twenty3 Sport and Entertainment, John Tripodi, has been appointed as adjunct professor at RMIT University’s school of economics, finance and marketing. Tripodi has held senior marketing and general management roles at Mars Inc. and the L’Oreal Group before establishing the high-profile sport and entertainment consultancy, Twenty3 in 2009. His research and views have featured in numerous international publications such as the Journal of Brand Management and the International Journal of Market Research. Professor Francis Farrelly, discipline leader of Marketing at RMIT, said he was delighted to welcome Tripodi to the University. “We look forward to tapping into John’s insight and opinions on real-life business issues, given his unique blend of both senior corporate and agency experience.” During his three-year appointment, Tripodi will deliver guest lectures, contribute to research activities, provide practical examples for course content and offer valuable counsel and career advice to students.
