International education has the power to alter history and sway governments – but only if you do it the right way, says one of the world’s leading international relations theorists. Harvard professor Joseph Nye was in Sydney last month to launch Macquarie University’s Soft Power Advocacy and Research Centre (SPARC), and receive an honorary doctorate from the university for his contribution to international relations.
